Description:
The summer internship will be from May-August, 2018. This position will offer engineering assistance with various projects including but not limited to testing, design, CAD work, prototyping, or other engineering related duties.
The primary responsibility includes working with a team of engineers in performing various development and testing activities for new and existing devices for both personal care and nutritional supplements. Ensures proper engineering principles are used and ensures documentation is complete and accurate. Ensures applicable standards are followed. Applies engineering and scientific methodology to testing and data gathering. Helps build prototypes, alters existing products, and runs engineering tests.
Qualifications:
Student working on a degree in an Engineering discipline preferably within Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or Manufacturing. Preferably at junior year or higher.
Ability to complete engineering activities, test products, gather data, and analyses data as directed by engineer.
Ability to use hands to build prototypes or operate equipment / tools.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Minimum Education Requirements: 2 Year College
Preferred Degree: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology
