Description:

Responsibilities: Assist the Resource Sharing Department with organizing and processing new, curriculum, and gift books, data entry, shelving, record keeping, and other duties as assigned. Projects can include shifting books and will require the ability to lift and carry materials shelved in the stacks. Will also assist in Interlibrary Loan processing, including the retrieval of items from stacks, as well as processing, packaging, and mailing ILL requests and returns. Work hours will approximately consist of 50% Technical Services and 50% Interlibrary Loan.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, 10-key, and standard filing procedures highly desirable. Must be dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work with or without direct supervision. Must be able to physically lift and carry approximately 25 lbs.

MUST take LM 1010 (or already have completed it) and earn a grade of B or better during first semester of employment.
