Description:

19 hrs/week. Flexible working hours during normal business hours. Occasional evenings and weekends and some travel may be required.

Write and distribute press releases and media alerts; contacts media to plant stories, set up interviews. Writes and edits program guide articles, grids, listings. Maintains press clips. Updates media contact lists. Helps develop promotional strategies. Helps out with promotional events.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, English or a related field or equivalency. Strong writing skills. Strong interpersonal relations skills.

Willingness to help at after-hour promotional events.
