Tasks & Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:
Process and review all aspects of orders or contracts, including pricing to ensure compliance with Company policy.
Anticipates problems and initiates course of action to resolve.
Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information.
Responds to inquiries regarding pricing, terms & conditions, billing and shipping.
Works directly with internal and external customers to resolve billing and contract billing problems/issues.
Reviews contracts and orders to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Audits monthly revenue numbers to ensure correct billing and shipping.
Analyzes monthly invoices.
Analyzes monthly revenue results for assigned accounts.
Qualifications:
Qualifications of the Billing Specialist:
Associates Degree in Business or related field or combination of education and relevant experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in Billing, preferably in Insurance or Software Industry.
Must be proficient in MS Office: Word and Excel
Must have strong organizational and analytical skills.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to work with all levels of staff and management.
Must be highly motivated and ambitious.
Must have proven ability to work well with peers in all other functional departments in a collaborative and team manner.
Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
Preference for Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP experience.
