Description:

Design innovative new electronic products in a friendly, fast-growing company. This is a position for an intelligent and creative person who likes to make a difference as the person in this position will be part of a small team and be in a position to make a significant impact.

• Create design concepts for products that don't currently exist on the market. • Write tests to validate new product concepts. • Perform proof-of-concept testing. • Research and select hardware components. • Layout PCBs. • Build and test prototypes. • Write test programs, product evaluation programs, and final product programs for embedded microcontrollers in C. • Support the patent application process, with new ideas. • Support the transition to production.

Qualifications:

• Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent field. • GPA of 3.6 or higher • Ability to learn quickly. • Creative thinker that finds and implements innovative and practical solutions. • Ability to wear many hats and fill many different product development functions.
