Description:

This position works under the direction of the Program Director. The Information Technology Instructor will be responsible for providing support to program instructors in providing technical instruction and support to students. Additional responsibilities include verifying student competencies, assisting with student retention to meet membership hour goals, maintaining student records, and maintaining contact with area employers.

Hourly Wage: $20.00 - $30.00

Working Hours: Up to 29 hours/week, Monday-Friday, generally between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m

Qualifications:

Minimum of six years of a combination of related work experience and post-secondary education in PC troubleshooting and repair, system imaging software, networking and IT help desk support and operations. Preference will be given to those individuals that hold A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, and Microsoft Certifications. Preference will be given to those individuals that have experience in teaching, project management, virtualization, Cisco, and cyber security. Familiar with word processing, email and can operate a Windows-based personal computer. Demonstrate ability to work with individuals of all racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Spanish speaking proficiency desirable.
