Description:
An immediate opening for a Research Associate position, within the Technical Development group at Myriad Genetic Laboratories, which will participate in the development of molecular assays for personalized medicine. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in molecular biology techniques. Specifically, experience with PCR, RNA expression, and working in a regulated laboratory environment are highly desirable. Research experience that was performed in an independent manner (academic or industry setting), is also highly desirable.
Qualifications:
The responsibilities include the development of sophisticated clinical molecular tests. These activities will include experimental design, data collection, independent problem solving, and data analysis. These development activities will also require documentation, requiring excellent technical communication and writing skills.
- B. Sc. or M. Sc. with relevant experience
