_Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities _ :
• Strong fundamentals in Algorithms, OOPs and Data Structure
• Good knowledge of database Queries, database theory, database design.
• SQL server troubleshooting knowledge
• Knowledge about the RDBMS itself, e.g. Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server.
• Ability to use various software applications.
• Demonstrated ability to writing manufacturing programs.
• Demonstrated ability in problem solving any hardware or software issues.

Database Administrators involve in many different task .

1. Auditing
2. Application Integration
3. Backup and Recovery
4. Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing,
5. Capacity Planning and Change Management
6. Database Application Development
7. Installing, Configuring, Patching and Upgrading SQL Server Software
8. Installing and Configuring Hardware
9. Load Balancing and Maintaining Documentation
10. Maintaining Servers and Databases
11. Requirement Analysis and Performance tuning
12. Security, Scripting. SSIS/ETL , Testing and Troubleshooting.

Performance Objectives/Job Duties :
• Respond to internal and external requests during implementation
• Work directly with clients to coordinate and schedule electronic data extraction
• Use SQL, MS Excel and Access
• Coordinate the gathering and conversion of various types of customer data
• Review and / or format client supplied data for accuracy prior to uploading
• Responsible for analyzing and defining mapping rules
• Assist in data cleanup where necessary
• All other duties as assigned.
