Dent Neurologic Institute is currently seeking a compassionate and committed
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) to provide * *services in our
growing Memory Disorder Clinic.
As the Licensed Clinical Social Worker , you will assist
patients and their families with managing psychiatric symptoms, behavioral
issues, and social difficulties. In doing so, you will provide patient-
centered, and problem-solving approaches to help improve patient's self-image,
relationships, and lifestyle. You should be skilled in providing comprehensive
evaluations and treatment addressing the complexities of cognitive impairment,
dementia, and mental health diagnoses. We need standout colleagues able to
work collaboratively with patients as well as their support systems to build
and implement a treatment plan that is tailored to the patient's specific
short and long-term goals.
Clinic hours are primarily between 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday
Requirements:
- Must be an active New York State LCSW with additional Psychotherapy privilege
- Strong computer skills with previous experience using an EMR system
- Good communication and time management skills are a MUST for success
- Documents patient information and care in the medical record to ensure accurate documentation of course of treatment as it pertains to the billing process
- Responsible for assignment and utilization of appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes.
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners to form a high-performing medical team.
