Description:

Tutor struggling students at local elementary schools for approximately 11 hours per week during the regular school day (9 am-3:30 pm). This is under the direction of the individual school's reading specialist.

Qualifications:

Interested applicants must clear a full Utah State Office of Education/FBI background check. They should be good readers and have an interest and ability to work with struggling students in public schools. Preference will be given to previous employees and elementary education majors.

Only those committed to working the full 120+ hours per semester need apply--students and reading specialists count on your help. Students in the Elementary Block or student teaching/internship cannot fill the time commitment for this job.
