Description:
Interns selected for these positions will have a variety of opportunities to conduct inventorying, monitoring, and assessing range conditions as part of the AIM (Analyze, Inventory, and Monitoring) program; and/or weed management utilizing weed control equipment and techniques. Interns will be working with a wide variety of natural resource, cultural resource, and Government employees. This position may require work on the weekends and limited overnight camping. Weekly Work Schedule will be 40 hours per week, Mid May - End of August. Intern will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions (temperatures 45 - 105+ degrees).
Must provide own living quarters. Kanab is small communities with limited services available.

Qualifications:
Some experience in one or all of the following is helpful but not necessary to apply for the internship position: natural resource management, biology, physical science, or botany. Experience with herbicide (weed) treatments is a plus. Must have valid driver’s license. Background check required upon selection.
