Description:

SUU Marketing Communication office is seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our fun and fast-pace work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, work independently and in a team, and the ability to write current, relevant content for a variety of channels including web, social and print. This is an excellent opportunity for students to receive industry relevant training in advertising, marketing and PR.

Job responsibilities: - Be the go-to resource for copywriting projects such as digital advertising, emails, landing pages, and a wide variety of printed marketing collateral. Equally skilled in writing snappy headlines for news releases, videos, graphics and web pages. - Work closely with design team to adjust copy for graphic layouts. - Research and develop SUU to Everywhere stories - Assist with building a content strategy - Build and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff and the community

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of AP writing style
  • Attention to detail and dedication to quality
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize high-level projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Proactive self-starter -The ability to meet deadlines
  • A passion for writing and the willingness to learn fro other creative professionals
