Description:

The Parking Services Specialist will manage all parking operations on campus including but not limited to:

  1. Handling various fees and fines
  2. Closing parking lots or reserving parking stalls when necessary for event or maintenance
  3. Upkeep of citation database and parking technology
  4. Enforcement of institutional policies.
  5. Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all student staff.
  6. Collect and report parking related data;
  7. Research and implement best practices for parking in university environments and in accordance with State of Utah standards.
  8. Manage and maintain efficient and effective parking permit systems including designing, ordering of permits, regulation forms, recommending permit and fee structures, and issuing of parking permits.
  9. Chair the Campus Parking Advisory Committee, recommend updates to policies and procedures, and coordinate the Campus Parking Appeals Committee.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or office experience in a customer service related field.
  2. Supervisory experience
  3. Project prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.
  4. Ability to provide high quality, customer service driven culture.
  5. Ability to learn and manage computer software programs.
  6. Strong human relations abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated leadership qualities.
  7. In accordance with Utah State Code 53A-3-410, appointment to this position is contingent upon the successful passing of a background check.
  8. Must have a valid Utah Driver’s License
