Description:

  • Assist in the grading and instruction of EDGE 1010
  • Consult with students about their EDGE projects (including logistics, brainstorming, organization, general advice, etc.)
  • Interact with students online and in person
  • Actively develop and research new EDGE project opportunities
  • Support social media and marketing activities
  • Promote EDGE Program at on-campus activities
  • Build a culture of experiential learning at SUU

Qualifications:

  • Have completed EDGE 1010 & 3000 level courses (formerly UNIV 1010 & 3925). Completion of EDGE project and EDGE 4000 (formerly UNIV 4925) preferred.
  • Demonstrate interest in strengthening and teaching digital literacy skills
  • Have professional level interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Be competent in the use of Canvas, Google Drive, Calendars, and other cloud-based digital technologies
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Be self-directed and independently motivated
  • Demonstrate past involvement at SUU (athletics, clubs, leadership, organizations)
  • Be able to promote and advocate for experiential learning
  • Be curious, creative, and enthusiastic
  • Have a facility with social media (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
