Description:
SUU Marketing Communication office is seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our fun and fast-pace work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, work independently and in a team, and the ability to write current, relevant content for a variety of channels including web, social and print. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get hands on experience while developing their communication skills.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop original content for web, social and print
- Write press releases, blogs, and social media posts
- Conduct research and interviews
- Create and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff and the community
Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of AP writing style
- Attention to detail and dedication to quality
- The ability to multitask and prioritize high-level projects in a deadline driven environment
- Proactive self-starter
