Description:

SUU’s Enrollment Management Department is seeking a persuasive writer to help create ads and write print and online content. This content will be used to persuade students to attend SUU and the visibility of your work will be high. You will gain real-world marketing experience and will be able to track the results and success of your assignments. Your role will substantially impact the university and lead to students attending SUU’s graduate, online and summer programs.

Duties Include:

  • Write copy for Facebook Ads and Facebook Posts
  • Write email marketing copy
  • Write landing page copy
  • Write copy for Enrollment Management department
  • Report to the Enrollment Management Marketing Specialist
  • Various special marketing projects
  • The ability to represent the University in a professional, positive light
  • Continual education on copywriting and persuasive marketing

Qualifications:

  • Willing to learn

Preferred, but not necessary qualifications:

  • Study or experience in marketing, communications, English, or other related fields.
  • A track record of self-taught or proactive learning
  • Familiarity with social media and sales funnels
  • Strong desire to read and learn the skill of persuasive writing
  • Website management experience
  • Photoshop or design experience
