Description:

Art models are needed each semester for various art classes. Both draped and undraped models are needed. Models pose for long durations of time while Art students render model onto canvas/paper. Class sessions are usually 3 hours long and most times, models are used for the duration of the class.

Please take special note: Those who request consideration in person to be hired will not be considered for modeling! Models are scheduled and hired through various staff members. DO NOT drop by the Art office seeking to be hired or scheduled. You will be contacted if you are selected to model.

Qualifications:

Models must be able to hold poses for long stretches of time with few breaks. Models are selected based on a variety of factors and these include: height, muscle tone, flexibility and athleticism among other factors. Models can choose to be draped or undraped or both according to the application. Please be sure to fill out this section of the application. Please note that undraped models are fully undraped. Confidence is critical in both draped and undraped models. Art classes are usually held in 3 hour blocks. Models may be asked to model the entire time or part of the time. Many times models are asked to model only once or a few times during the semester, however if models are a good fit for the class, reliable and professional, they will be scheduled regularly throughout the semester.
