Description:

Schedule: 40 hours/week. Weekends and holidays required. No housing for this position. Must work 80 hours every 2 weeks from May 13th through the start of the Fall 2019 semester. Additional hours may be available Fall semester depending on employee scheduling. This position will require working at least some weekend, holiday, and evening shifts.

Overview:

Working closely with other interns, this visitor-oriented position will help the public safely enjoy their time in Zion. Work will be conducted outdoors. Housing is not available for this position.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist staff in loading shuttle buses.
  • Greet and orient park visitors to Zion, answer questions on natural and cultural resource significance and provide safety and regulatory information to visitors.
  • Assist in data collection along trails and at popular landmarks.
