Description:

The SUU Marketing Communication Office is seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our fun and fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, work independently and in a team, and the ability to write and create current, relevant content for social media channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get hands-on experience while developing their communication skills.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop original content for web and social
  • Assist with building a content strategy
  • Create content for various social media channels
  • Manage specific social media channels for SUU
  • Conduct research and interviews
  • Create and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff and the community
  • Evaluate analytics to make data-driven decisions

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and dedication to quality
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize high-level projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Proactive self-starter
