Overview:

Selected intern will work as a Visual Information Specialist in collaboration with NPS Staff and the DSU Park Data project. The primary function of the position is to support the Park Data project in the development of print, digital, and to provide administrative support. There is no housing available for this position. Position Responsibilities:

Utilizes a variety of data visualization and graphic design software to create visualizations data collected by the project. Uses digital images, video, electronically produced graphics, or artwork to produce content for park data web and mobile applications. Contributes to UI & UX strategy, design and development of mobile applications for the park data project.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to work well in a team setting. Capable of working independently on assignments with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Design experience preferred UI/UX knowledge preferred but not required
