Description:
As a call center operator you will receive and disperse campus/maintenance/security calls to the proper SUU representative, keep detailed logs and reports, monitor campus fire alarms, take boiler readings, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. The Call Center is open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, so expect to work some weekends, graves and HOLIDAYS. This is an integral part of campus function and security, so it is imperative to have clear/precise communications skills and a desire to perform job functions.
Qualifications:
Clear telephone and person to person communication skills and a great note taker.
Ability to follow directions, be prompt and courteous, self driven, organized, keep area tidy.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform well under pressure.
Must have a knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access).
Must maintain 12 credit hours per semester, 2 semesters of school year.
