Description:

Postal Operations is looking for an energetic, team player and someone who demonstrates motivation and a willingness to get things done. This is an on-campus work study position. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensuring timely receiving/postal delivery/mail handling items on predetermined routes, as well as helping with sorting, processing, and general office work as it relates to the US Post Office.

Qualifications:

Works under direction of the Postal Operations Manager Performs a variety of tasks, to process incoming and outgoing University mail, including operation of mail machine and other mail related duties in accordance with departmental procedures. . Provide pickup and delivery services according to University and USPS policy. Maintains a clean and safe workplace. Follows safety procedures and uses proper lifting techniques to ensure personal health and safety. Must have valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in State of Utah and possess acceptable driving record. Must be able to lift/move heavy equipment (50+) lbs. Must have the ability to drive and operate a van, pallet jack, and hand truck.
