Description:
This position will provide support to the Purchasing Office assisting with various procurement related activities and clerical duties. The ability to maintain confidentiality of information and records is essential. A strong attention to detail will be needed to assist with data entry, analysis, and communications with vendors. Additional duties include maintaining portions of the Purchasing Card Program.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Ability to perform calculations and work accurately with numbers
- Critical thinking, analytical ability, detail oriented
- In depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, and general computer skills
- History of dependability, reliability, positive work ethic
- Ability to manage, organize, and complete various tasks simultaneously
Preferred:
- Majoring in Business or related field
- Accounting background
- Two or more years remaining as an SUU student
