Description:

One of best positions on campus for working with all student school schedules. Integral part of campus support. As an operator, you will man campus switchboard, direct incoming calls and transfer inner-campus calls. You will monitor campus fire alarms, emergency calls, maintenance calls, as well as Electronic door lock system. Operator also monitors Boiler gauges taking regular readings. Maintain reports for each area of business, and follow daily and emergency procedures. Other duties as assigned. Only applicants who submit an application and resume will be considered.

Qualifications:

Must have excellent customer service skills and great phone etiquette, be able to exhibit good writing and spelling skills. Communication, Listening skills, and ability to follow directions are required. Must be able to give concise campus and Cedar City directions. Know how to use Google and the School Website for information support. Must be enrolled in at least 12 credits. Must be willing to work hours in the following shifts:

  • 10 PM to 6 AM (Grave)
  • 6 AM to 2 PM (Morning)
  • 2 PM to 10 PM (Afternoon/Eve)

Anyone not willing to cover all or part of the listed shifts at least 2 times week, will not be considered. Must be willing to work some holidays and weekends, we are open every hour of every day of the year.
