Description:

Office Assistant needed to assist the SUU Office of Alumni & Community Relations. Student must provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone and via email. Will also assist office staff with various clerical duties such as data entry, preparation of mailers, and correspondence with the alumni base. May write press releases, magazine articles and blog posts; student must have strong writing skills for this position. Will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be available to work between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday (will work with your class schedule) as well as some evenings and weekends. Must be reliable and responsible. Must have exceptional customer service skills and a pleasant demeanor. Be proficient in Microsoft Word and have excellent phone skills. Must be able to handle confidential information in a professional setting. Previous writing experience preferred.
