Description:
DESCRIPTION: Writing Center Intern for Writing Center/Writing Fellows Websites will create and update the writing center website to include resources for faculty and students across the university.
Duties:
- Collect and create (when appropriate) handouts and samples of various genres and writing styles.
- Collect and create handouts with grammar tips.
- Collect and create handouts with writing tips.
- Update writing center information on the website.
- Link on-campus and off-campus resources to writing center webpage.
- Create an appropriate and campus-approved blog for publication of resources and appropriate information created by students and faculty.
- Other duties related to website design and maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- skills in document creation,
- experience with website design,
- familiarity with writing center philosophy and outcomes,
- ability to work with minimal supervision
