Description:

This temporary Summer Internship position is customer service based and is responsible for ensuring the quality of information going out of our office. Interns will provide helpful, appropriate, and accurate information to fellow students, parents, as well as SUU employees.

  • Call Center role to assist with inbound calls
  • Will address frequently asked questions
  • Will log requests for follow-up calls from professional staff
  • Make outbound calls as needed
  • Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 credits face-to-face courses during the summer semester

  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive demeanor, even in difficult or demanding situations
  • Experience with handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls preferred
  • Skilled in the use of personal computers required
  • Record keeping and word processing essential
  • Ability to maintain confidences and work cooperatively with students, parents, faculty, and staff
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work under a fast-paced environment
  • Strong initiative and work ethic, demonstrating integrity and reliability in fulfilling responsibilities
