Description:

We are looking to recruit a Utilities Office Assistant to close work orders within the work order system, compile and maintain the equipment inventory program, and other duties as assigned. Must be currently enrolled at SUU and maintain 12 credit hours (for undergraduate) while working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close out work orders from the Utilities Department that have been completed
  • Compile an equipment list for various buildings in an Excel spreadsheet
  • Update equipment inventory when equipment is changed out
  • Develop a tagging system to label the equipment inventoried
  • Coordinate with Electrical and HVAC/Plumbing Supervisors for equipment PM’s
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Utilities Director

Qualifications:

  • Valid Utah Drivers License
  • Vast knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Knowledge of the names of various equipment (pumps, air handlers, VFD’s ect.)
  • Ability to climb ladders and carry 25lbs
  • Good communication skills and works well with others
  • Works individually to carry out assignments
