Description:

Design and manage all graphical elements of the official student-body university publication, the University Journal, and its corresponding website, SUUNews.net. You will be in charge of designing advertisements for potential clients, podcast logos and icons, creating graphics, assisting with creative and social media teams, and the creation of our monthly publication.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated and willing to accept criticism from peers. Priority will be given to candidates who provide a portfolio and letter of recommendation from an SUU graphic design professor.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an in-depth grasp of Adobe CS, especially Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Self-motivated and good at managing your time.
  • Enrolled in or successfully completed Graphic Design I and Typography I.
  • Manageable and willing to accept criticism.
  • Letter of recommendation from graphic design professor and/or previous employer.
