Description:
Mentors can be an essential scaffolding of student learning and achievement. As such, our SSS mentors will work closely not only with students but also the SSS Director, Coordinators, and tutors in providing needed interventions to promote success of assigned active SSS students. Mentors will focus efforts on knowing requirements for general education classes, work closely with students to help them understand which classes and instructors work best, assist participants in completing these classes successfully, and help set plans of study.
