Description:

Utah State University, in collaboration with Southern Utah University, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) and the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, are hiring 1-2 interns to help with an outreach education project. The position will be May 21– July 21, although the starting date is negotiable. The intern will be responsible for cooperating with UDWR employees to develop educational videos about Utah Prairie Dog recovery and management. Travel will often be in conjunction with a UDWR employee; however, independent work and travel is required. When working independently, the intern will be provided with a vehicle.

Qualifications:

Preference will be given to those applicants with education or professional experience in the natural resources field and those with education or professional experience in the information technology and media fields. Applicant must have a current U. S. Driver’s license.
