Description:

The Maintenance Records Assistant job includes but is not limited to:

  • Creating and closing out work orders
  • Filing paperwork
  • Auditing logbooks
  • Scanning documents
  • Assisting the Maintenance Department, Parts Department and Records Department as needed or directed by management.

The Maintenance Records Assistant will strive to complete all tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Records Supervisor, Director of Maintenance and all other management personnel in a safe and timely manner to ensure operational integrity. Work is performed with some latitude for independent judgment but will be supervised by an immediate supervisor and is reviewed periodically to assure conformity with all departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Read and understand aviation maintenance regulations
  • Basic understanding of math
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willing to work nights and early mornings
  • Willing to work Saturday if needed
  • General knowledge and proficient use of a computer and computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Aviation experience is preferred but not required
