Description:

Southern Utah University's Aviation department is seeking a qualified candidate to assist with the rapid growth of the AMT program. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, innovative, and well organized. The AMT program requires new procedures and processes to be developed, lab spaces to be organized and cleaned, and all parts, tools, and equipment maintained. The chosen candidate will assist the Director of Global Aviation Maintenance Training in tracking inventory, maintaining equipment, tools control audits, organization and lab assistance.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inventory all tools, equipment, and consumables
  • Weekly Audits on inventory, tools, and equipment
  • Clean up lab space as needed
  • Organizing inventory
  • Assistant instructors during labs if needed
  • Cleaning and organizing different locations as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Programs, Adobe, and Apple applications
  • Experienced in organizational processes and inventory management
  • Self motivated and can work independently
  • Effective communicator
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Means to travel between lab locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of aviation
  • Aviation students preferred
