Work Hours: Daytime and evenings M-F and some weekends (work hours vary depending on events and the needs of the University).

Wage: $8.50/hr

Location: Cedar City, UT


  • Assist and run events on campus involving technology such as TV carts, projectors, sound systems, and lighting systems
  • Assist in setups for large events including concerts in the America First Event Center (AFEC), Forever Red, etc...
  • Perform maintenance on equipment when it fails and be able to troubleshoot problems that arise


  • Able to have a base knowledge or gain an understanding of performance lighting and audio equipment
  • Work well under pressure
  • Very good public communication skills
  • Must be available during school breaks
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lb
  • Must be able to work occasional early mornings and late nights.
  • Must be able to get along well with others.
  • Preference will be given to students who can commit to at least 12 months in the position
  • Must be enrolled in at least 12 credits for the fall and spring semesters
