Description:

Southern Utah University's Aviation Maintenance Training program is seeking a qualified candidate to intern with the SUU Aviation Maintenance department. This will be a 12 month position with the internship being terminated at the end of the 12 months or at the recommendation of SUU maintenance management or when the intern is no longer an SUU student. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, innovative, and well organized. The chosen candidate will assist a team of SUU Mechanics in helping maintain equipment, work on sparkplugs, clean, and any other assigned tasks.

  • Intern will report to SUU maintenance management for Schedule
  • Assist in the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the SUU fleet aircraft.
  • Will be assigned to a Team of SUU Aviation mechanics
  • Will follow all Aviation Policies and Procedures

Qualifications:

Full-Time SUU AMT Student Good Standing in School 3.0 GPA Must have Letter of Recommendation from an AMT Instructor General knowledge and understanding of asset inventory -General knowledge of cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and assets Self motivated and can work independently Effective communicator
