Description:

The new and innovative Professional Internship Program is designed to help SUU students develop skills and competencies that employers expect from college graduates. Interns are assigned a mentor to guide them through the internship and to help them develop personally and professionally. Internships last for one semester at 20 hours/week. Undergraduate students are paid $9/hour and graduates $11/hour. You will be evaluated over the course of the semester to identify progress and set goals for improvement and complete a canvas course.

Types of internships could include but are not limited to:

  • Communication
  • Computer science
  • Education
  • Humanities
  • Outdoor and environment
  • Human behavior
  • Social science
  • Performing and visual arts
  • Health science
  • Engineering

Qualifications:

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Good academic standing
  • SUU student
  • Commit to the program and internship for the entire semester
