Description:

Manage the pick-up, organize the storage, and handle the sale of surplus items from across campus. Correspond with many individuals on campus and outside of the University by phone, e-mail, and in person. Applicants must carry a valid drivers license and be able to work independently. Assist with other accounting related duties as needed. These may include report generations, reconciliations, data analysis, department interactions, and student interactions.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma, or equivalent GED.
  2. Accounting/business background preferred.
  3. Organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects.
  4. Ability to perform calculations, analytics, and understanding of basic accounting processes.
  5. Knowledge of the Microsoft Series (emphasis on Excel), Adobe, and general computer abilities.
  6. Dependable, reliable, confidentiality, professional and strong initiative.
  7. Work efficiently and effectively.
  8. Interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse group, good customer service.
  9. Familiar with SUU campus.
  10. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  11. Interested in improving job procedures and efficiency.
