Description:

This position will start Fall semester of 2022 and will continue into Spring 2023 (with the potential for some time in the Summer).

Your Fall 2022 Schedule must be provided upon application.

This is a front office position in a large department. Candidates will provide clerical support to all faculty members.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Greeting visitors and students to the department
  • Directing questions from students to the appropriate faculty member
  • Making copies
  • Restocking the supply room
  • Respond to general questions about the department in person, over the phone, or by email
  • Assist professors and the office administrator in various tasks or projects as assigned

Duties may also include opening or closing the office, depending on the assigned schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be organized and a self-starter
  • Willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Gmail and Google docs knowledge is a must
  • Proficient with excel Spreadsheets
