Description:

The Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business is seeking two (2) students to assist staff and work in the busy main office of the business building. We need these positions to start as soon as possible.

Reception duties include:

  • Greeting visitors/students/etc.,
  • Scheduling and checking-in advising appointments
  • Answering phones
  • Assisting office staff, professors, and students as needed

Other tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with business clubs
  • Creating flyers and other marketing materials
  • Assisting at various events
  • Grading assignments and entering grades
  • Creating spreadsheets and maintaining data
  • Updating website/calendars/powerpoint slides
  • Helping maintain a clean and organized office and break room

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks; must be organized and a self-starter
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Gmail, and Google Calendar. Canva
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Some design skills for flyers preferred
