Description:
This is an open position for art models for the Southern Utah University’s Department of Art and Design. Models are expected to pose draped (clothed) or undraped (nude) and have the choice of being asked of what they would like to be. Models should be able to hold poses for as short as 30 seconds to as long as the duration of the class period.
Models are provided a short break after holding the same poses. Body awareness and the ability to twist, turn, bend and accentuate the 3-dimensional qualities of the human figure in poses are highly desirable. Models of all genders, ages, and body types are highly encouraged to apply. The modeling is performed in an indoor studio setting under the supervision of the class instructor during class hours. The environment is very respectful. Expected work hours are generally scheduled in 2-hour blocks.

Qualifications:
- Experience with modeling, theater, acting, yoga, gymnastics, dancing, or other physical training that requires coordination and performance.
- This position requires the person to frequently remain in a stationary position (standing, sitting, lying down, etc.).
- Applicants should possess a friendly and professional demeanor, and have a patient and respectful attitude toward others.
- Be punctual, and consistently reliable.
