Position Responsibilities
  • Maintaining all safety protocols for the guiding of activities
  • Guiding guests through hikes, paintball games, and skeet shooting activities provided by East Zion Adventures
  • Assisting with barn activities including climbing wall, virtual reality, and bungee trampoline
  • Provide insightful information to help better the guests experience at our property and in the Zion area, particularly through an extensive knowledge of Zion National Park hikes and recreational areas
  • Assist guests in booking activities, utilize reservations systems
  • Answer phones to provide help to guests with questions
  • Ensure a high level of organization and cleanliness in your direct areas of work
  • Maintain equipment and vehicles under the jurisdiction of EZA
  • Must complete required training to guide activities solo
  • Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification

Qualifications:

  • Must be over 18 years old to drive resort vehicles: can-ams and shuttle vehicle
  • Must be able to perform activities in the sun for long periods of time during summer months
  • Passion for hospitality, excellent service, and team success
  • Experience in some areas of outdoor recreation with an emphasis on safety
  • Experience or degrees in hospitality are great but not required to apply
  • Have team attitude showing humility, hunger, and people smarts when working
