Description:

Admissions Clerks are the foundation of the Admissions Office. These student employees accurately process documents and do data entry in an efficient manner, and act as knowledgeable resources for other members of the campus community. They communicate with prospective and incoming students through phone, email, and in person contact, in a professional and welcoming manner.

Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enter high school transcripts and other admissions data into multiple computer systems
  • Process applications for admission
  • Correspond with prospective and incoming students through email, phone calls, and in person
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to execute accurate data entry
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with special attention to detail
  • Dependability, reliability, and ability to focus on assigned tasks
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and work in a demanding, at times stressful, environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, staff, faculty, and community members over the phone, in person, and through written correspondence
