Description:

Under the direction of the faculty supervisor, the Marketing & Communications Assistant will collaborate with the artsFUSION team to: plan, create, collect, and post social media content for the artsFUSION program and assist in efforts to promote artsFUSION events and advocate for elementary arts education.

  • Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Meet weekly with the faculty supervisor for planning and reporting.
  • Occasionally attend artsFUSION events to take photos and videos for social media content.
  • Create ideas for content on Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Prepare content for posting.
  • Design flyers and digital marketing materials for all artsFUSION events.
  • Maintain organization of the artsFUSION Photos & Videos Drive.

Qualifications:

  • Registered student at SUU.
  • Can come to campus for weekly meetings and occasional events.
  • Demonstrated photography skills.
  • Graphic design experience, social media and marketing experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace.
  • Responsive and accountable.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
