Description:
You will assist International Student and Scholars Services Staff (ISSS) with support for prospective and current international students and scholars. In doing this you will provide customer service in person, by phone, and through email from the International Admissions Office. You will process requests, applications, and supporting documents using the SLATE, Banner and BMI scan system, along with other data processing and storage systems. You will create and maintain documents, files, spreadsheets and provide data support for agents, recruiters, and ISSS staff as well as assisting new international students through the admissions process.
Qualifications:
- Customer service, computer, phone, data input, and general clerical skills needed.
- You must possess a high attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Strong command of the English language, and be self-motivated and willing to take on individual responsibilities as well as team projects.
- You must be culturally sensitive, able to work a minimum of 2 hours per shift, M-F between 7 AM and 7 PM.
