Description:

Under the supervision of the show master electrician, Technical Director, and Lighting Designer, these positions safely maintain the lighting instruments and the sound plot for all Department of Theatre, Dance, and Arts Administration productions. Duties may include hanging and focusing of conventional fixtures from a lighting plot as well as wiring of lighting practicals, basic rigging, musical editing, mixing, setting up wireless and wired mic positions, speaker setup, and sound patching and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have successfully completed THEA 1513 Stagecraft
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to work at heights.
