Description:

The Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business is seeking one (1) student to work with the MBA Program Director, Assistant Director, and Program Coordinator in the business building starting as soon as possible. Assistant duties will primarily support the Assistant Director and the MBA Program Coordinator to:

  • Utilize Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms) and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to manage and maintain MBA Program materials including course maps, flyers, and other communications documents.
  • Build email campaigns through MailChimp or Constant Contact to communicate program changes with students.
  • Develop and maintain the MBA portion of the School of Business website and build a social media presence for the MBA Program on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Provide on-going communication with current MBA students and collaborate with the School of Business on communications with MBA alumni.
  • Develop a regular, meaningful alumni communication plan to assist in building an alumni network.
  • Provide administrative support to the Master of Business Administration Program Director.
  • Develop and publish regular reports that track the progress and operations of the MBA program.
  • Plan and execute program orientations, MBA program events, international experiences, and assist in developing new activities to enrich the MBA student experience.
  • Assist with catalog and curriculum updates, course scheduling updates, and developing and maintaining operating procedures.
  • Assist in the development and execution of MBA student and alumni surveys.
  • Other duties include creating flyers and other marketing materials, assisting at various events, creating spreadsheets, updating website/calendars and social media accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be organized and a self-starter
  • Knowledge of Google Office Programs (Calendar, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Forms), Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Some design skills and familiarity with Canva or the Adobe Design Suite for flyers preferred
