Position Overview We're seeking enthusiastic and driven students to serve as Entrepreneurship Ambassadors for the Miller Center for Entrepreneurship, helping to foster innovation and entrepreneurial spirit across campus. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, networking, student recruitment, and startup development while earning valuable work experience.

Key Responsibilities

Help organize and facilitate entrepreneurship-focused events and networking opportunities

Serve as a liaison between the Miller Center for Entrepreneurship and the student body

Promote entrepreneurship programs, resources, and opportunities through campus outreach.

Assist in maintaining relationships with alumni entrepreneurs

Support the documentation and sharing of success stories from student entrepreneurs

Time Commitment

  • 10-15 hours per week during academic terms

  • Some evening availability is required for events

  • Minimum one-year commitment preferred

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications * Current undergraduate student in good academic standing and at least a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Be willing to work at least 10-15 hours a week, preferred days, T, W, TH

  • Strong interest in entrepreneurship and innovation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in student organizations or similar settings

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

  • Must be available to attend weekly team meetings

  • Must be knowledgeable in Google Suite, Excel, and Word

  • Must be comfortable talking with people

Candidates must be self-motivated student leaders who embody an entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to serve as Entrepreneurship Ambassadors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, thrive independently and in team settings, and maintain professionalism in their appearance and representation of our program. Our ambassadors must be creative problem-solvers who can fulfill weekly commitments reliably while bringing fresh ideas to help grow and strengthen our entrepreneurship initiatives. Successful candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm and positive energy when speaking about our program, inspiring others through their leadership and dedication to fostering an innovative entrepreneurial community on campus.
