Description:

The Human Resources Assistant will perform general receptionist and customer service duties including assisting guests, processing paperwork, answering phones and responding to emails. These duties involve the staff, faculty and students across campus. Processing paperwork and problem solving are critical to this role. Additional projects as assigned. This is not a remote position, in person attendance is mandatory.

Our office is open Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm. Please include your class schedule and availability for both Summer and Fall.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to contribute positively to team goals and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Capable of managing multiple projects at the same time and working with frequent distractions
  • High attention to detail
  • Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Excel preferred
  • Previous HR experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be registered for 6 or more credits in Fall 2025
  • Work Study eligibility is strongly preferred
