Description:
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
- Welcome the general public to the President's office suite, providing a warm and professional first impression for guests of the following offices: President's Office, Provost's Office, VP of CORE and the VP of Finance and Administration.
- Carry out tasks assigned by the President's Office, including special projects and administrative duties.
- Manage shopping and stocking of office snacks, drinks, and supplies.
- Aid the Executive Assistant to the President in managing the affairs of the Board of Trustees, including meeting arrangements, agenda preparation, and other related tasks.
- Assist with meeting set-ups, website updates, public notices, and other administrative support.
- Ensure the care and upkeep of the general office environment.
- Support the planning and coordination of office meetings and luncheons.
- Complete other administrative tasks as needed by the President's Suite.
Qualifications:

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, especially during quieter office periods.
- Friendly, personable, and professional demeanor, with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Teachable and adaptable, willing to learn new skills or adjust to new responsibilities as needed.
- Dependable and able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to respond to shifting office needs and special projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work on various projects, events, and office needs.
- Professionalism in verbal and written communication (email, phone, etc.).
- Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Dress code: Business casual (business formal for special events such as Board of Trustees meetings, Commencement, and other executive events).
- Ability to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year (maximum).
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer (maximum).
- Availability to work weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
