Description:

  • Perform supporting tasks such as file organizing, file editing, and basic AutoCAD usage/editing.
  • Aid in sorting, scanning, and filing physical copies of floor plans and record drawings.
  • Aid in the building and room inventory processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable using AutoCAD.
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD drafting and editing.
  • Ability to draw simple 2D building/room layouts in AutoCAD.
  • Basic understanding of file organizing conventions.
  • Ability to organize digital CAD files.
  • Construction and maintenance experience helpful, but not required.
  • Experience with ArcGIS mapping software helpful, but not required.
  • Must be customer-oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-lbs., bend, crawl, and/or reach.
  • Understanding of English for general communication, video training, building security, shift occurrences, work orders, problems, and safety.
  • Capable of understanding instructions both verbally and in writing, and able to listen and ask clarifying questions as needed.
  • Must complete safety and equipment usage training.
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours during fall and spring semesters.
  • Must be thorough, motivated, and detailed oriented.
